Emerge Educational Coaching is a one-on-one coaching service that helps students and their families build a toolkit for success in school and beyond by improving organizational, time management, and executive functioning skills.

My Story
My name is Ariel Martinez.
Who I am as a teacher is shaped by several core beliefs: that kids are capable of more than most give them credit for, that learning is a lifelong process, and that all people can build skills to "get it together."
I spent eighteen years on a team of educators working to design and build innovative programs and schools. I have found that many kids need support breaking down big projects into smaller parts, developing an organizational style that works for them, and remaining engaged and focused-- all transferable executive functioning skills that aren't often taught in school.
In order to help kids in school and life, we need to shift our focus from content specific support, and teach kids how to work through challenges by staying engaged, organized, and motivated.
